VIA de CRISTO is a Spanish phrase meaning “Way of Christ.” VIA de CRISTO is a highly structured three day weekend designed to strengthen and renew the faith of Christian people and bring them to a new awareness of living in God’s grace. It is a combined effort of lay people and clergy toward renewal of the church.

Via de Cristo of Western Washington (VDCWW) is associated with the VDC National Lutheran Secretariat. (viadecristo.org)  VDCWW recently celebrated our tenth year as a ministry to this area. Learn more about  Via de Cristo of Western Washington history.

We are a non-profit organization and are comprised of Fourth Day community members from western Washington. Currently, we offer one to two weekends a year, along with four or more Ultreyas a year.

Our leadership board includes laity and clergy. VDCWW is based on the fundamentals of Christianity, concentrating on the person and teachings of Jesus Christ. The objective of the movement is to inspire, challenge and equip people for Christian action in their homes, churches, and communities.
